Saturday May 15th 2021, 8pm – Kayhan Kalhor, Rembrandt Trio, Eva Stegeman & friends

Classical Encounters joined forces with the Rembrandt Trio for a meeting between different worlds of classical music on the evening of Saturday, May 15th 2021. In the Lourdes Church in The Hague, the Iranian kamancheh virtuoso Kayhan Kalhor performed together with the Rembrandt Trio. Artistic director and violinist Eva Stegeman and her musical friends Pieter van Loenen, Charles Watt, Judith Wijzenbeek, and Dominic Seldis performed not only classical pieces by Messiaen and Ravel, but also a new piece by Rembrandt Frerichs, who personally took place behind the piano. Due to corona-measures, the concert took place without audience and was broadcasted via livestream. Tickets (€7,50) for this livestream are still available.
