About Orpheus is a theatrical pas de de deux between Pieter van Loenen (violin) and Frederik Kaijser (dance), who together tell the heartbreaking myth about Orpheus and his beloved Eurydice. Orpheus refuses to accept, after the loss of Eurydice, that they will no longer be together; it is an intimate performance about denial, anger and hope for what never comes again. The Hague violinist Pieter van Loenen is finalist of the Dutch Classical Talent Award 2019.
